From 5:30pm to 6:15pm

The most challenging period of our lives might be the time we spend raising our children. A few things about this time stand out as almost universal truths: 1) At any given moment we are doing the best we can as parents. 2) When we look back on our parenting we often find some regret.

In this 45 minute talk Dr. Dave Thornsen will help put our parenting efforts into perspective so that we can raise our children to become the strong, secure, young adults we hope they will be. You will be provided a sound theoretical framework behind a few simple ideas that will help make your parenting more effective and reduce your need to feel regret. Time will be reserved for questions at the end of this talk.
