I’m really glad you’re here. Asking for help is not always easy and you are finding the strength to do it. This means that you’re working towards healing and finding peace. I hope you give yourself credit for that.
Therapy can look different for different people, though an important component is having a meaningful connection and honest conversations. I prioritize creating a safe environment for people to bring their full, authentic selves. I appreciate being able to support others as they explore who they are and become who they want to be. This journey often involves accepting emotions and acknowledging relational patterns while considering one’s identities, experiences, and contexts.
I received my B.A. from the University of Wisconsin and got my M.S. and Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from Marquette University. Together, we will work to integrate what I have learned about mental health with what you have learned through your experiences. In this way, we work collaboratively. So, if things aren’t working as you planned, I invite you to let me know so you can get what you need. You deserve to be accepted for all that you are. And I would love the opportunity to witness you becoming and embracing yourself.
