She/Her/Hers

I know how scary it can be to make your very first therapy appointment. It takes a great amount of strength and courage to take such a big step toward improving your mental health. This is something to be proud of. Leading up to your first appointment, you may experience increased feelings of stress and anxiety, but this is normal.

I strive to provide a safe and welcoming environment in which growth and healing can occur. I also place great importance on developing a mutual sense of trust, as I believe trust is the key to building a strong and healthy therapeutic relationship.

I utilize a person-centered approach to therapy that is built on a foundation of empathy and affirmation. I believe the counseling experience should be tailored to fit each individual’s unique needs and experiences, as therapy is not one size fits all.

I’m currently a Limited License Clinical Social Worker. I earned my master’s degree in social work from Grand Valley State University. While completing my degree, I worked as a Clinical Intern at Grand Valley’s University Counseling Center where I gained experience working with a wide variety of populations in both individual and group settings.

I am enthusiastic about working with children as young as 7, adolescents, young adults, and adults up to age 49 of all backgrounds, cultures, sexual orientations, and gender identities. I would be honored to begin walking alongside you through your mental health journey. Please feel free to reach out with any questions or if you would like to schedule an appointment.
