Kerry is excited to use art making as a tool in her work with people if it is their preference in therapy. Kerry is also trained as a counselor for traditional talk therapy. Art may be used in the therapy as a way to express yourself when words are not available. Art skills are not necessary for the use of art in therapy. You do not have to be an artist or feel like you need to have any type of artistic talent to do art therapy. Art therapy is for people of all ages. Kerry will partner with you to decide what the best therapeutic approach is for you.
I would be grateful for the opportunity to support you through your personal journey and as you transition and work through life experiences. I will walk the path of wellness and self-discovery to emotional healing with you.
My experience is strongly rooted in attachment theory and a client centered psychodynamic- approach. I welcome the opportunity to collaborate with you in a nonjudgmental way and to help increase happiness, ease, and personal growth into your life. I am skilled in the areas of treating addictions, anxiety, depression, perinatal mood/anxiety disorders, parent/child attachment issues and trauma.
