Keonna Watkins, LLMSW
Practicing in Grandville
Transitions in life can create unseen challenges and become overwhelming and quite isolating. My goal is to go on this journey with you as you navigate your feelings and goals. I specialize in helping individuals, couples and groups dealing with life transitions, with a focus on supporting women, young adults, new parents, and children of elderly family members who need support through transitions.
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who received my Master of Social Work from Ferris State University in 2017. I am also attending the University of Michigan’s Sexual Health Program and am pursuing a certification in Sex Therapy. My additional training in Perinatal Mood Disorders, Geriatrics, Mindfulness, and Interpersonal Communication impacts my approach with clients and their journey toward self-discovery.
I strive to create a welcoming and safe environment for exploration, vulnerability, healing, growth, and humor. I draw from my own journey and provide a person centered, strength-based approach using a variety of therapeutic techniques when working with clients. I value authenticity, connection, and willingness to do the work in a therapeutic relationship.
