Kayla Rotman, LMSW
Practicing in Holland
As humans, one of the hardest things to do is be vulnerable and ask for help. We were not meant to walk this earth alone, yet our pride, shame, or embarrassment keeps us from learning our inner strength and provides resistance to our healing process. As your therapist, I will not only be a safe person for you, but I will also provide you with tools and resources for you to find that inner strength and begin the healing process that you deserve, all while walking alongside you so you don’t have to do it alone.
I graduated from Central Michigan University with a double major in Child Development and Psychology and continued on to get my Masters in Social Work from Grand Valley State University. I am a LMSW that uses a client centered, strengths-based approach. You are the expert of your life and together, we build on the strengths that you have to reach the goals that you have set forth for yourself.
I have experience working alongside children, teens and adults. I utilize insight-oriented, strength-based, and CBT approaches. I also have specific training in DBT and Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TFCBT).
