Other areas of expertise include working with those who are experiencing mental health challenges in the areas of anxiety, depression, trauma, chronic health illnesses/conditions, dementia, caregivers of those struggling with symptoms of dementia, grief management, divorce, co-parenting, ADHD, Bi-Polar Disorder, and Borderline Personality Disorder. I have always had a passion for building intentional relationships with others through personal interconnection, trust, and respect by valuing the unique design of every individual.

I enjoy spending my free time with my husband, children, and friends reading, playing card games, hiking, and traveling to visit historical landmarks and water coastlines.

My Approach

Every individual’s story and situation are diverse and unique. Thus, I seek to walk alongside clients on their path as a teammate and co-champion. Encouraging clients to envision and accomplish growth and change, I integrate perspectives from multiple theories to assist them in tailoring their own personal story. My approach aligns with person-centered theory which holds to the constructs of empathy, unconditional positive regard, and congruence. Likewise, assessment tools, techniques, and theories are utilized to meet each client’s diverse perspectives and needs. I utilize Cognitive Behavioral Theory, Polyvagal Theory, mindfulness, and various trauma-informed techniques with a particular emphasis on EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing) Therapy to assist clients in establishing balance, memory reconsolidation of core negative beliefs and traumatic experiences, and reaching their desired goals. I have been truly amazed and privileged to walk beside clients as they experience life-changing transformation. My desire is to walk alongside you and assist you on your journey.

What You Can Expect

As a collaborative teammate, you can expect a fellow partner, champion, and advocate who cares deeply about you. As we explore the intricacies regarding life’s presenting concerns, my goal is to create a safe space where you are supported, and your autonomy is respected. As we navigate difficult situations together, we will work to build sustainable mental, physical, and emotional well-being. You will be encouraged and challenged as you set goals to bring about effective positive life changes. Your personal strengths will be built upon while you are taught skills that will equip you with resources to draw upon as you face life’s challenges. My ultimate vision is to give you resources and tools to successfully navigate current and future life pressures leading to a place of sustainable balance.
