They say that making that first phone call is the hardest part in seeking support of help when it comes to therapy. The phone feels like it weighs a 100 lbs and it’s hard to ask for help in navigating the concerns or issues that are affecting you. I am proud of you for making the step to seek out support and hope I can be part of this process.
I commit my time and abilities to help you work through these difficult moments and times and hope that we can work together to sort out any concerns that you may be going through or experiencing.
I work with couples, individuals 15 and up, and focus on those dealing with depression, anxiety, grief, and life changes. I am excited to help you or your loved one work through and excel through these concerns and look forward to you reaching out for the peace that you deserve.
I am a licensed clinical social worker with over 11 years of experience in private therapy and working in the ER supporting client’s long term and those in crisis. I again work with clients on a range of issues including couples, relationship problems, blended families, those dealing with depression and anxiety, and grief and loss to name a few. As a single father of two children, I have also experienced the loss of a child and use this experience to support and walk alongside others who have experienced the pain of losing a child or loved one and the effects that this can bring to a person or couple.
I earned my Masters of Social Work from Western Michigan University and continued training and experience working at inpatient psychiatric facilities, hospice, my ER experience, and as a private therapist these many years. I truly hope that I am able to be part of you or your loved one’s journey to peace and understanding.
