Dr. Emma Westra is a Licensed Psychologist in West Michigan. She is an integrative and process focused therapist, and tailors her approach to fit your unique needs. She is trained in psychodynamic, relational, and cognitive behavioral modalities that help personalize her approach. Dr. Westra prioritizes building a trusting relationship by focusing on client’s patterns, providing and accepting feedback, and facilitating skill building.

Dr. Westra enjoys working with a variety of clients. She is an LGBTQ+ affirming therapist, and considers the impact of race and gender when working with individuals.

Dr. Westra completed her PhD in Counseling Psychology at Western Michigan University in 2022. Her experience includes past experience in private practice, university counseling centers, and academic settings. In addition to individual psychotherapy, Dr. Westra has previously facilitated interpersonal process groups, couples work, and skills group.
