The reasons behind people’s decision to seek out therapy can vary, but underlying most of these reasons is the desire for change. Taking steps toward positive change takes courage and strength. My mission is to help you feel comfortable, heard, respected, and supported as you consider life challenges from the past, present, and future in your pursuit of living your best life. We will start this process with an individualized approach for your needs and goals and will begin wherever you are in your journey. A strong therapeutic relationship underlies all my work, and I will offer you guidance and support and provide a safe place for healing and personal growth along with laughter and tears.

“We don’t have to do all of it alone. We were never meant to.”

~Brene Brown

I am a Clinical Social Worker/Therapist with 27 years of experience working with diverse populations in a variety of settings. I graduated from Hope College with a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Social Work and received my Master’s degree in Social Work from the University of Michigan. I utilize insight-oriented, strength-based, CBT, DBT, and psychodynamic approaches, and I am trained in Accelerated Resolution Therapy that treats issues such as trauma. I enjoy working with adolescents, families, and adults.
