Anne Behler, LLP, LPC

Practicing in Holland

Anne Behler
Anne Behler, MA, LLP, LPC is a Michigan Limited License Psychologist and Licensed Professional Counselor. She earned her Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology from Western Michigan University in 2006 and worked with children in outpatient and crisis settings for several years. After spending time at home raising her three boys, Anne returned to clinical work in 2019 and has since provided services in a variety of settings—including elementary schools, forensic evaluations for families involved with CPS, and private practice. She now focuses on providing both therapy and psychological assessment for children (ages 5+) and adults with neurodevelopmental concerns such as ADHD, as well as emotional and behavioral challenges.

Anne offers primarily in-person therapy in the Holland location and is passionate about helping individuals better understand and respond to their thoughts and behaviors. With younger clients, she actively involves parents in sessions to help them support their child’s progress beyond the therapy room. Anne has a special interest in treating anxiety and obsessive-compulsive disorder and has advanced training in Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP). Her approach is collaborative, goal-oriented, and aimed at helping clients identify and externalize unhelpful patterns so they can begin building a new, healthier relationship with their internal experiences. She has navigated the therapy and assessment process at various times with her own children and values every client’s time and resources.

While I consider myself action-oriented, I am fully committed to meeting you where you are in a compassionate, understanding, and judgement free space. I am excited to provide you with any resources I have, and research ones I don’t so that you are best equipped to meet your goals.
