Adam Shatsky, LLMSW

Practicing in Cascade

Adam works with adults (18+) navigating addiction, trauma, anxiety, depression, relationship concerns, life transitions, and questions of identity and purpose. He has a particular passion for helping individuals build greater self-awareness, strengthen relationships, and create lives that are more authentic and aligned with their values.

Adam believes meaningful change begins within a genuine therapeutic relationship. He strives to create a space where clients feel safe enough to be honest, understood, and challenged with compassion. His approach is collaborative, trauma-informed, and tailored to each client’s unique experiences, recognizing that lasting growth comes through understanding ourselves more deeply rather than simply managing symptoms.

In addition to treating substance use concerns, Adam has experience working with behavioral addictions. Whether someone is facing a specific challenge or seeking greater fulfillment and purpose, he considers it a privilege to walk alongside clients as they pursue meaningful, lasting change.

Outside of the office, Adam enjoys woodworking, hiking, traveling, spending time outdoors, and cheering on the Detroit Red Wings.
