Karen Ruedinger, LLMSW
Practicing in Cascade

I see counseling as a collaborative process—working together to support the change you’re seeking. My first priority is building a genuine relationship with you, one rooted in trust and care, so that you feel safe, heard, and respected.
Your experience in therapy is central as we work to foster a sense of hope which helps drive the pursuit of individual goals. I want you to feel that this is your space and that our work is focused on what matters most to you.
My role is to help guide and support you toward meaningful change. I’ll do that by using a variety of approaches that are tailored to your needs as they evolve. Fundamentally, my practice is grounded in a person-centered and strengths-based philosophy—meaning I focus on your unique perspective, honor your resilience, and build on the inner and life resources you already have.
As we work together, my hope is that you feel truly supported and never alone in the process as you move toward the life you want to create.
Karen brings empathy, warmth, and an insightful nature developed over a range of experiences in work, counseling, parenting, and years of “life on planet” to benefit her therapy practice. Her practice centers on working with adults experiencing life transitions. Karen has availability for new clients on select weekday evenings and Saturdays.
