Anne Behler, LLP, LPC
Practicing in Holland

I believe pursuing therapy is a brave and meaningful step toward growth, and I feel honored to walk alongside you in that process. I earned my Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology from Western Michigan University in 2006 and currently provide therapy and psychological assessments for both children and adults. In therapy, I enjoy working with a variety of adjustment and mood-related concerns and have received specialized training in providing Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) to treat anxiety, body dysmorphia, and OCD. In addition, I draw from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Solution Focused techniques. My focus is helping individuals and families navigate challenges in a way that feels supportive and practical. With younger clients, I prioritize working with parents directly, so you feel equipped to support progress at home and beyond the therapy room.
My style is collaborative and compassionate, with the hope of gently challenging clients to move toward healthier ways of thinking, feeling, and responding. My goal is to create a warm, welcoming space where you feel heard, supported, and encouraged as you take steps toward lasting change.
My evaluations are fully comprehensive — because knowing what something is not is just as important as knowing what it is. I combine interviews, record reviews, and standardized testing from multiple sources to understand the basis of concerns. My goal is to translate results into practical and individualized recommendations for home and school as well as make appropriate referrals for additional services. Having navigated the therapy and assessment process with my own children, I understand how important it is for families to walk away with both clarity and a clear path forward.
