Julia Vandersloot

I am a licensed therapist dedicated to helping individuals navigate life’s most difficult challenges. Whether you’re struggling with addiction, feeling overwhelmed by anxiety or depression, or working through the impact of trauma, I want you to know – you’re not alone, and healing is possible. I received my Master’s of Social Work from Michigan State University in 2022, and have spent the past 3 years working with individuals with substance use disorders and other co-occurring mental and emotional needs.

My approach is warm, collaborative, and grounded in evidence-based practices. I draw from a range of modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, EMDR, Motivational Interviewing, and strengths-based approaches, among others. These tools help us uncover the patterns that are no longer serving you and build on the strengths you already have – whether you recognize them yet or not.

I know that reaching out for help can be scary. I strive to create a safe, nonjudgmental space where you can feel heard, supported, and empowered. If you’re ready to take a step toward healing and growth, I’m here to walk with you.
