Ethan Catron is a Licensed Masters Level Clinical Social Worker and a Certified Advanced Alcohol and Drug Counselor. He works with adults and adolescents. He completed his Masters in Social Work at Western Michigan University and has been practicing social work since 2017. He has provided therapy in both outpatient and inpatient settings and has worked alongside many people experiencing a variety of challenges such as anxiety, depression, addiction, spiritual concerns, trauma, disordered eating, body image concerns, and grief. Ethan has particular passion for working with people who are struggling with addictions, eating disorders, depression, anxiety, and existential concerns.
Ethan takes a trauma-informed therapeutic approach utilizing acceptance and commitment therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, internal family systems, trauma-informed mindfulness skills, exposure response prevention, existential therapy, and motivational interviewing. He believes in creating “a therapeutic space of safety, respect, and compassionate curiosity where we are more able to face difficult feelings, learn new skills, see new perspectives, and find new meanings.”
